AB The Enfer TSE Version 2.0 assay is an approved, qualitative immunoassay for the detection of PrPsc in central nervous tissue of cattle and small ruminants.
The assay is scalable to accommodate a wide variety of users and the data presented here shows how the test is robust when used at a small scale of less than 45 samples/day, up to the largest BSE testing laboratory in the world with the capacity for 9,000 samples/day.
The data focuses on assay performance characteristics such as plate validity criteria and initial reactive rates, based on different lab sizes and their respective equipment requirements. It can be concluded that the assay does not show any differences in performance within different scales or throughputs.
