AB Prion diseases are invariably fatal. Recently, quinacrine and chlorpromazine have been suggested as immediate candidates for the treatment of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and other prion diseases. The objective of this paper was to report on 2 fatal familial insomnia patients whose overall condition worsened despite quinacrine and chlorpromazine treatment.
