AB A compact serpentine race system for cattle slaughter plants is described. It consists of two 180 deg curves with a 1.5 m radius. The advantage of this system is that less floor space is required, when compared to a curved race system with a 3.5 m to 5 m inside radius. The cattle are still able to move through this system easily
