AB The electrical stunning of poultry has to be reconsidered. Both in terms of animal welfare and meat quality. Some questions about the physical aspects of the transfer and measurements of electrical energy are put forward. An attempt is made to estimate the economic impact of present electrical stunnin gand the proposed new EEC-legislature.
